Now there has been a lot of buzz on these toys. Some people like them and some people don't. I will be addressing the latter group first. To those people who seem to think its a stupid fad...I hate to break this to you but everything is. Seriously these are just the Yo-Yo's of today's generation. You might be saying "But I don't get it!" and I'm here to tell you that is kind of the point. You're an adult you're supposed to not understand kid things and go and do whatever it is adults are supposed to do...Taxes I guess? I understand them because I am a forever kid. I am not saying you have to become like me I am simply saying if you complain too much you sound weird.

Anyway, that was my two cents on that matter. Second, for the people who say that this is a great toy and it will help children with ADHD....don't be silly. While I can appreciate that you have good intentions I must regretfully inform you that things are not that simple. ADHD is a complicated characteristic and it cannot be fixed or swept under the rug with quick fixes (regardless of how much wishful thinking is involved). That being said they are still fun so if your child wants one let them get one. I have one myself and I can attest to the fact that they are quite entertaining. However, if your child goes to a school in which teachers have banned them then I recommend you don't let them go to school with them lest they get confiscated. I personally don't agree with the teachers who have banned them but hey me disagreeing with teachers is nothing new. However, they still enforce the "rules" at school and unfortunately children must follow.
Well I hope you appreciated my opinion on the topic. The main takeaway is that fidget spinners are fun and you shouldn't knock people for liking them. If you are buying one for your child with ADHD don't expect magic. And if you're like me and enjoy them then I recommend you watch YouTube videos on how to do the tricks...the hand toss seems especially fun.
